Job Description

Position: Site Supervisor

Our client, an Israeli civil construction company working in Portugal, is seeking an experienced Site Supervisor for a project located in the Bahamas. The project involves the installation of a plumbing system in a new resort unit.

Responsibilities:

– Supervise and support the installation and testing of hydraulic works on the site.
– Lead multiple teams at various points of the installation.
– Perform daily hydraulic duties.
– Utilize drawings, technical manuals, and manufacturer literature.
– Use precision measuring tools and instruments.
– Provide detailed technical and work instructions to assigned crews.
– Prepare materials, tools, and safety precautions for assigned jobs.
– Ensure quality performance of all assigned work.
– Prepare and deliver reports summarizing work activity.
– Create or support installation documentation.
– Handle site problem reports.

Requirements:

– Bachelor’s degree in Engineering preferred.
– Fluent in English.
– At least 5 years of experience as a Site Supervisor or in a similar role.
– Experience with plumbing system installation, including domestic water, drainage, sanitary fixtures, and water heaters.
– Ability to work with drawings, technical manuals, and manufacturer literature.
– Experience providing work instructions.
– Experience preparing materials, tools, and safety precautions for assigned jobs.
– Availability to live in the Bahamas for the duration of the one-year project.
