Job Description
Joining our Finance team in Berlin as an Accounting Team Assistant will allow you to work with our team of accounting and controlling specialists. In particular, you will be in charge of handling supplier bills as you assist the Accounting team in fulfilling their daily responsibilities. We provide visa sponsorship for those of you who are eager to join us from outside of Germany.
Your responsibilities:
You will enter supplier invoices into the system, ensuring they are paid on time, and work with Procurement and Accounting to resolve any issues.
You will track and record monthly provisions, which are amounts set aside for future expenses, coordinating with other departments to ensure accuracy.
You will record and review deferral items – expenses or income that need to be allocated to the correct time period – and regularly update these records.
You will gather data and help calculate transfer prices for transactions between Bonial and its foreign subsidiary each month, ensuring compliance with international rules and assisting in preparing legal reports.
Job Requirements
Your profile:
You have initial professional experience in invoicing-related tasks (e.g., from Procurement, Sales, Accounts Payable, or Customer Service departments).
You are confident using Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and ideally have first experience working with an ERP system (e.g. SAP).
You are very detail-oriented and do not get bored working on repetitive tasks.
You have good & pro-active communication skills and can work well independently and with different teams.
You have very good English skills (C1 level) and good German skills (B1 level).
